Super cute small Japanese market with sushi/bento boxes! The perfect quick lunch spot :) Service was very friendly and loved the selection of snacks and goodies here. The cod bento was honestly so delicious!

I recently grabbed a sushi bowl from Mog Mog in LIC, and it was a delightful experience! The bowl was visually stunning, with a vibrant mix of fresh ingredients that made it look almost too pretty to eat. The bowl included a generous portion of sashimi, featuring a variety of fish that were all incredibly fresh and flavorful. The pieces of cucumber, tamago (Japanese omelet), and ikura (salmon roe) added nice texture and bursts of flavor, making each bite exciting and satisfying. The uni (sea urchin) on top was a standout--rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The portion size was perfect for a hearty meal, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. I appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation and the balance of flavors and textures in the bowl. Overall, Mog Mog delivered a high-quality sushi bowl that left me very satisfied. It's a great spot for a fresh and delicious meal in LIC. I'll definitely be returning to try more of their offerings.

Cozy shop offering diverse Japanese market with great selection of Asian snacks and drinks. Food: - Fresh, delicious $6-7 sushi rolls and sashimi - Highlights: Salmon rolls, salmon avocado rolls, tuna rolls, fatty tuna - Also offers poke bowls and onigiri rice balls - Perfect for quick sushi/sashimi cravings Service: Friendly staff Overall: Excellent spot for affordable, fresh Japanese fare. Regular stop for quick, satisfying sushi.

Awesome Japanese grocery store where the highlight is the fresh-made sushi! I tried the following: + Spicy cod roe rice ball - perfect + Eel avocado roll - perfect + Chirashi sushi bowl - excellent + Kaarage rice ball - only letdown, dry Will be back for more sushi rolls and the salmon & ikura sushi bowl.

This mini Japanese supermarket is located in the heart of LIC and offers authentic Japanese food and products. The customer service was friendly and helpful. I browsed the shop and saw they offer ceremonial grade matcha, boxes of sea urchins, and much more. ORDERED: Takoyaki: came in 6 pieces. Very flavorful. Salmon burger: it was delicious. I like how they don't use buns. Matcha latte in a bottle: it was good They have seating outside. There's a garbage can by the tree along w paper towels for our use. Will be back!

Found this Japanese mart next to a coffee shop I met a friend at. We stopped by to check out the small selection of groceries and snacks along with the pre-made rice bowls, sashimi and sushi section. I grabbed a SALMON & IKURA SUSHI BOWL (25.00) for a bus ride back and it was good! The salmon pieces are a bit thin but high quality, the ikura was so juicy and didn't taste that fishy and overall, I'd say it's more of a snack size than a full meal. I'd recommend stopping by if you need Japanese groceries, want the snacks or just craving a pre-made rice bowl or sushi!

Amazing location. You can have everything you can think of Japan. Everyone is very nice there. I like the freshness of the fish and all the fruits and everything, they are so fresh and looking good, of course, they are tasty. The way they setup, you will feel like you are in Japan! Specially, once you walk in the store, everyone say "irasshaimase" いらっしゃいませ. I love this place. I have been there a few times. And I will go there repeatedly.

(Overall: 98% | A) - Mog Mog is a Japanese market with a lot of high end ingredients available -- its clean and fairly priced -- definitely worth a visit. I got this beautiful Chirashi bowl that tastes as good as it looks. There's an abundance of fish and everything blends nicely together! Highly recommend! IG: @amei.eats

Only the freshest and tastiest chirashi bowls to go here! Staff are super friendly and helpful with whatever you need. Mogmog houses unique japanese groceries with fresh to go style bowls. Will definitely be back when in the area!

Mogmog is a small Japanese grocery store located in LIC. You can find snacks, cooking ingredients, and most importantly...a variety of sushi rolls, chirashi bowls, sashimi, rice balls, bento boxes! The price is definitely not cheap but consider the restaurant grade chirashi bowl you are getting, I honestly consider it worth every single penny! Besides chirashi and salmon ikura bowls, we also tried out a few things there: - karaage: well seasoned, but since it was pre-made, I personally am not a fan of the texture as it has been sitting there for a bit - rice ball: had a good amount of filling, will recommend giving their rice balls a try!
